Notice, in the first picture, how aluminum wire is a problem at the point of connection around the binding screw. The aluminum product is fine between the wire length. However, there’s excessive heat under the binding screw or termination and the insulation burns back resulting in fires. Aluminum wire remediation is necessary in order to secure a home insurance policy.
