Truck got called off early on a job. Driver called after dumping the last load. Hourly rate job and we were actually taking the spoils. He had dumped off that last load thinking we were going to transition over to for another customer, but there was none available. Standby!! Going to load that Truck back up with what you just dumped off and will go take care of a small job in Worthington to finish off the day.
Driver went ahead. Knew where to dump. First load of Clay Fill off the Yard, second load of Clay Fill out of Stinesville. Third load of Topsoil well? That place is a secret. 🤫 Notice the different materials?
🤯Ooop coming down the road! This road looks familiar. Stone got was hauled somewhere down this road before. Sure enough that’s where the pin is plotting!!!
Customer called while on the job and asked about going ahead and hauling some stone as well for a driveway touchup. However, upon arrival at this job — couldn’t believe it! We had been here before Truck #490 had hauled from Springville here probably three or four years ago. A full quad axle load was goodness plenty!! Had separated up piles for them. A little bit on each driveway. So knew they had rock plenty thick. Advised the customer instead of hauling you some new stone. I think you have plenty here to work with. I know it’s plenty thick we hauled it in! Let me charge you just a little extra for the skid steer being here and save you some money — I don’t think you need any new stone. ✅✅ So… in between waiting for dirt loads. The skiddy gave the 2 driveways a nice touchup.
📸 I’m going to find those pictures and post them at the back end of when we hauled stone here a few years back.
‼️FOUND Yes!! July 11, 2023
👀CHECK OUT THAT LITTLE RAMP FOR THE RIGHT SIDE DRIVERS OF THE TRUCK TO NOT RISK TIPPING OVER — SOME CLAY FILL THAT WAS WET ENOUGH FROM STINESVILLE WAS HANGING UP IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER.
👌🏻 customer came home. And said it looked absolutely great!! Better than they were ever expecting. It had just started raining when she got home, she said “go home!!” I would’ve liked to have done some final touchups closer to the foundation. But she said, she was to going to plant flowers up along there anyways.
