We're exited to introduce Bree - Don's sister & the newest member of the DKS family.

As DKS continues to grow, one thing we never want to lose is what we've always been about: family, personal service, and doing things the right way.

Years of weathering and a dark, tired stain had hidden the character beneath the surface. So we went back to the beginning... restoring the logs, addressing what needed attention, and giving this home the care it deserved.

What emerged was something completely different.

100 years. What an honor.

While log home restoration is what we do every day, every now & then we have the privilege of working on something truly special.

This beautiful barn turned 100 years old this year, and we were honored to help restore it while preserving the character & craftsmanship that have stood the test of time.

One of the most meaningful moments came at the end of the project, when the Owners asked each member of our Crew to sign our names on the inside of the barn.

It was an incredibly humbling gesture and something we'll never forget. To know our names will be a small part of this barn's story, means more to us than we can put into words.

Projects like this are a reminder that restoration is about more than wood - it's about preserving history, honoring craftsmanship, and caring for something that will be appreciated for generations to come.

Thank you to the Owners for trust us with such a meaningful piece of Montana history.
