Today we “hired” 10 members of the Van Meter Wrestling team to help us freshen up the sidewalks at hopewdm. They worked hard, didn’t complain and did pretty stellar job for being rookies. They raised $2000 for their program in 4 hours of work…not a bad day at the office!

Thanks for the help fellas. You’re leaders. Showing up when you don’t have to, doing a job others don’t want, for the betterment of the team. Keep after it, men.

We have a position called the “10% man”.

It doesn’t sound glamorous. It’s not really either. Cleaning. Sealing. Backfill. Not terribly exciting.

Here’s the deal though…it’s the last man on site in a lot of situation. It’s the icing on the cake.

It, in many cases, makes the breaks the final product and first impression.

Donnie is our guy. He has been for a while now.

He consistently knocks it out of the part.
Doing the little extras.
Caring a little more.

Giving it our signature.
“The Standard.” setter.
That’s why this role matter.
A lot.

And Donnie owns that.
Good work,brother.
Keep it up.

Chato and company have been cranking out the footings at Lutheran Church of Hope this week on the new west entrance remodel. It is going to take 275 tons of rock to fill in the void once the footings and walls are in place!
