Can't build a thing if it never leaves the yard!

Super Trucker Ray strapping down a load headed out for galvanizing. One of the best around and a big reason AAK keeps rolling. ๐Ÿš›๐Ÿ’ช

We're not buying it, boys.

Another week in the books. About time to park the work boots and crack open a couple of cold... sodas. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Everyone notices the finished project. What they don't always see are the hours spent right here in our shop in Clinton, where guys like Brent, Gabe, and Derek are receiving material, cutting, fitting, welding, and building the pieces that keep our jobs moving.

The field may get a lot of the spotlight, but every project has a starting pointโ€”and for many of ours, it's right here in the shop.

Here's Gabe putting in work behind the scenes and helping keep projects moving from fabrication to field. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Javier Sr. and Javier Jr. in the shop getting it done.

Not much cooler than a father and son duo working side by side. Hard work, knowledge, and pride in the trade being passed down from one generation to the next.

Today, weโ€™re proud to recognize Braden Larson as the recipient of the 2026 AAK Mechanical Scholarship! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Braden was selected for his interest in pursuing a skilled trade โ€” a career path built on hard work, hands-on learning, and real-world problem solving.

At AAK Mechanical, we believe the trades deserve just as much recognition and encouragement as any traditional college path. Not every successful path starts in a four-year classroom. Sometimes it starts in a shop, on a jobsite, in an apprenticeship, or with someone willing to learn a skill and put in the work.

The reality is this: skilled trades are vital, in demand, and full of opportunity.

The world needs builders.
The world needs fixers.
The world needs people willing to work with their hands and take pride in what they create.

From welding and pipefitting to HVAC, electrical, cosmetology, construction management, and beyond, these careers keep our communities, industries, and country running every single day.

Tradespeople donโ€™t just build projects โ€” they build communities, infrastructure, businesses, and futures. They keep America moving.

For years, weโ€™ve seen firsthand the value of skilled trade professionals and the growing shortage of workers entering these industries. Thatโ€™s exactly why we created this scholarship โ€” to support students who are ready to learn a skill, work hard, and build a future through vocational or technical education.

Congratulations again, Braden! Weโ€™re excited to see where your future takes you. ๐Ÿ‘Š
