Well it has been a very, very long time since any post has been made. It seemed fitting that this post should be made since you couldn’t drive through Clinton and not miss the massive project going on at Baum’s.

This is far from all the pics taken along the way, but this is some of the highlights from the project.

There was a house demoed, body shop demo, asphalt & concrete demo, building site prep, utilities dug in, and even an underground detention area under the north parking lot! This is the only one of its kind in all of Dewitt county. It was quite the project!

A friend of mine had a house fire Halloween night resulting in a total loss. After getting the all clear for demo from the insurance company, demo began. Everything is gone and the site is now ready for a new foundation. This hole excavated for the walkout basement is HUGE!

Phase 1 of this massive site prep for Weldon Fertilizer. This area excavated is 110’ across and will be the site of a 2 million gallon holding tank. The tiny little rectangle you see within the excavation area is a 1500 gallon septic tank to help put its shear size into perspective.

Currently responding alongside Trimble Plumbing to Kenney due to a boring company hitting a water main. This in turn drained the water tower completely. The entire village is without water at this time. Should have repairs made soon.

Sewer #12 comes from the high school. The newly renovated concession stand needed trenches for sewer, water, and power. I was able to locate a buried manhole in what literally seems like in the middle of nowhere to gain access. This has been buried since the school was built. A riser was installed on it to make it flush with the ground.
