Hi friends! Today we have been in Portland, OR for 1 year. Time has flown by, but it also feels like forever ago that we had our own little business. We are doing well, and actually quite thriving here. We have found a beautiful community here in our church and have used nearly every weekend to explore the gorgeous PNW!
We have been asked many times when Mark will start woodworking again. We don’t know. We are in a rental here, with no space for tools. We are tentatively saving for a house here, but a down payment on a house here is a little different than a house in SC. 😱 We look forward to him being able to use his skills again one day…Our furniture that Mark built for our house feels a little more like a treasure now.
We are still leaving this page open, because we don’t really know what our future holds. Just wanted to give a shout out to another entrepreneur…Our middle-school daughter has started her own little small business, making Handpainted cards, so if you are passionate about small business, feel free to give her a follow at Designed•By•Sofie, some of her designs are below at the end of this album. She can ship to Greenville!
We miss you all and the support you gave our family and our business! Hopefully one day we will be back in the shop. 🙂
