Sometimes we just need a little inspiration to get ideas on how to use items from food pantries. So I am going to start posting some recipes made from common food pantry items.

Today's recipe is Easy Peach Cobbler and is made from 3 ingredients: 1 box of yellow cake mix, 1 can of applesauce, and 1 can of peaches. If you have butter, cinnamon. And brown sugar, you can add those on top. If not, you dont need them. Here is the recipe:

Easy Peach Cobbler
Ingredients:
1 box (9 oz) yellow cake mix
1 can peaches, with the juice
1 can applesauce
2-3 tablespoons butter, optional
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, optional
1-2 tablespoons brown sugar, optional

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Use an 8×8-inch baking dish.
Pour the peaches and their juice into the bottom of the dish. If the peach pieces are large, cut them up a little.
Spoon the applesauce over the peaches and gently spread it into an even layer. Don't mix it all together.
Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the top. Don't stir.
If using butter, cut it into small pieces and scatter it over the cake mix.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar if using.
Bake uncovered for 35-45 minutes, until the top is golden and the peach mixture is bubbling around the edges.
Let it sit for 10-15 minutes before serving so it can set up a little.
One important thing: Since you're using applesauce and peach juice, don't add any extra water to the cake mix. The moisture from the fruit and applesauce is what turns that dry mix into a soft, cobbler-like topping.
If you have vanilla ice cream, it's ridiculously good warm with a scoop on top. 😄🍑

Hey friends 🧡 just wanted to let everyone know that we are down a fridge for a couple days. I thought it was the heat that was making the top fridge not stay super cold, but alas, my nemesis 🐿 strikes again. While pulling the fridges out to attempt to fit the bigger one in (its too deep unfortunately), our extention cord and one of the mini fridge cords was knawed on. I ordered a new cord, but I just wanted to let everyone know in case we are low on drinks and sandwiches for the next few days.

Thank you for the sweet message 🫶🥰💓☺️🫂

Made Ratatouille (confit byaldi style) with veggies from our garden! I also tried out my new bread machine and made a loaf of French bread 🥖 This whole meal took me over 3 hours to make because even the sauce in the ratatouille is from scratch made with green peppers, onions, tomatoes, etc 😅
