A wet basement can quickly turn from an occasional inconvenience into a much bigger problem. For this home in Old Bridge, NJ, our team installed our WaterGuard and SuperSump to help manage water intrusion. WaterGuard helps capture water at the basement perimeter, while the SuperSump works to pump it out and away from the home!πŸ’¦

If your basement has ever leaked during a storm, today is exactly the kind of weather that can expose the problem. When the ground becomes saturated, hydrostatic pressure builds around your foundation, giving groundwater more opportunities to find its way through walls, floors, cracks, and other weak points. Your sump pump may be working overtime right now, too. If you notice water coming in, a pump that can't seem to catch up, or damp spots you haven't seen before, don't ignore it once the rain stops. What looks like β€œjust a little water” today can become a much bigger moisture problem over time.🌧️

Stay safe out there, and if your basement is taking on water during today's storms, contact our team for a free estimate!🌟

Foundation problems behind a finished wall can be easy to miss until the signs start showing up inside the home. For this project in East Orange, NJ, our team uncovered a foundation wall concern behind a finished basement wall and installed EverBrace to help stabilize the structure and restore confidence in the space. After cutting out the drywall, we were able to address the problem directly and install a system designed to reinforce the existing wall without needing to completely rebuild the basement from the outside.

EverBrace is a wall restoration system used to severely damaged or failing foundation walls. It works by supporting the existing wall with steel corrugated panels and a foam and cement backfill, creating a new stabilizing structure that helps stop further movement and restore the wall's strength. It is an excellent solution for basement walls that are bowing, cracking, or deteriorating due to long-term pressure and structural failure.

If your basement walls are bowing, cracking, or showing signs of structural movement, contact our team today for a FREE estimate!🌟

Foundation settlement is not always caused by one problem, and sometimes the right solution requires more than one approach. This Phillipsburg, New Jersey home was experiencing significant foundation settlement, including concerning cracks and movement around the structure, so our team developed a three-stage repair plan to stabilize the home and address the underlying issues.πŸ’ͺ

Our crew installed Push Piers and drove them down to stable, low-bearing strata to support the settled section of the foundation. We then installed our EverBrace wall restoration system to permanently stabilize the affected foundation wall, with CleanSpace and SilverGlo helping improve moisture control and insulation within the space. Finally, PolyLevel expansion foam was used beneath the slab addition to help lift the settled structure and bring it back toward its original position.🌟

If you are noticing wide foundation cracks, uneven floors, settlement, or movement around your home, do not ignore the warning signs! Contact our team at Quality 1st to have your foundation evaluated and find out what solutions may be available for your home.

Between catching the school bus, walking to school, and getting everyone out the door on time, back-to-school mornings are already busy enough without worrying about uneven concrete. If your walkway, driveway, patio, or steps have settled over time, those uneven surfaces can become more than just an eyesore.πŸšΈπŸŽ’

Our PolyLevel can lift and stabilize sunken concrete without the need to completely replace the slab. Our team can help restore uneven concrete surfaces so your family can get where they need to go without having to watch every step. Before the school year gets too busy, take a look around your property and see if any concrete areas have started sinking, cracking, or creating uneven transitions. A small problem today can become a bigger trip hazard tomorrow.🌟
