Welp, changes are underway! Hard to see in this pic, but I had some help yesterday ripping out plants in my landscaping that no longer serve a great purpose for me, as I've changed in so many ways as a gardener, not every plant goes away though. The tree comes down next week then new plants go in! Anyone want to guess some of the plants I may be putting in? Aside from two new hydrangeas, all of them will have medicinal properties as I continue to expand in my herbalism practice ✨

What gave to me an abundance this year will live on in my gardens next year. The seasons, the cycles, the gratitude for it all, becoming aware of that is truly awe inspiring ✨ Purple Podded pole beans, a favorite every year ☺️

They cycles of the seasons of the garden, and this is one that I look forward to each late summer! Remember the baby from late spring? This could be him! I've seen him a few times, always in my front gardens. Every year, like clockwork, they show up on my screens, saying hello, and doing their thing. I'll be watching for him today as I've got a lot of gardening to do! ✨

This time I remembered the small harvest basket! Greenies were for dinner. Purples, too big to eat fresh, so beans shucked and frozen to add into soups. I thought about dehydrating them but I know soon enough (like next month) I'll start making soups. August, the time in the garden where we almost can't keep up with the harvests ✨✨ Tell me, what are you harvesting like crazy, or can't seen to keep up with?
