We are still covered in snow! I see all the snow on roof slopes and ridges. Beautiful landscape, but a potential roof headache.

A way snow on your roof can be harmful is water damage, it’s usual paths on your roof are altered (especially on a flat roof system) causing water to stand, the constant freezing and thawing can make cracks and leaks more prominent, and on some roofs ice damming. (in picture above) Ice damming causes leaks on ceilings and exterior walls under and near the eaves where they collect.
