What pests are looking for a way into your Cleveland home this fall?
As temperatures drop, many pests begin searching for food, warmth, and protected areas. That can make fall an important time to check your home for signs of pest activity and potential entry points.
🐭 Mice: Check garages, basements, attics, wall voids, and crawl spaces for droppings, chewing, scratching sounds, or small entry holes.
🕷️ Spiders: Look in basements, garages, crawl spaces, around windows, and in quiet corners where they can find shelter and food.
🪲 Stink bugs: Check exterior walls, windows, doors, attics, and wall voids. They may gather on warm, sunny areas of your home as they look for shelter.
🐜 Ants: Look around kitchens, sinks, foundations, wall voids, and other areas where food or moisture is available.
🪰 Cluster flies: Check attics, upper floors, windows, and wall voids. They may seek sheltered areas as temperatures cool.
🐝 Wasps: Look around eaves, rooflines, wall voids, garages, and decks. Colonies can be especially noticeable in late summer and early fall.
Before winter arrives, take a few minutes to inspect your home's foundation, windows, doors, garage, attic, and roofline.
