This meter hasn’t been opened or serviced in over 20 years 😳. Inside, we found small damage on the aluminum utility wires and an illegal connection someone added to feed another panel.

That kind of setup is extremely dangerous — it bypasses breakers and can cause fires, shock hazards, or even total equipment failure. Over time, connections like these loosen and corrode, especially with aluminum conductors.

Happy friday! This is a light fixture I installed a few months ago. I had to strap my ladder down to the center post while it was extended 30ft as I worked. This fixture is intended to provide light for a very wide backyard so the height and framing worked out well.
