This reinstall took a couple of trips to finish. The weather wasn’t on our side, but we weren’t going to rush it or cut corners just to get off the roof.

We put in the extra time to make sure every mount was installed to manufacturer specs and the system was put back the right way. That’s the difference between getting a job done and doing a job that will hold up for decades.

Our goal is simple: reinstall every solar system better than we found it.

During the pre-removal inspection for this roofing project, we discovered that only 10 of the home’s 28 solar panels were producing power.

Every solar removal we perform includes a system inspection, allowing us to identify existing issues before the panels come off. That way, when the roof work is complete and the system is reinstalled, we can correct those problems instead of simply putting a faulty system back in place.

Before removal: 10 of 28 panels producing.
After reinstall: 28 of 28 panels producing.

A solar removal and reinstall should do more than protect the roof. It should leave the homeowner with a properly functioning system.

The power goes out. This home stays on.

Our Tesla Certified Installers equipped this Florida homeowner with two Tesla Powerwall 3 units, giving them reliable whole-home battery backup when the grid goes down.

During a random storm, utility outage, or hurricane, the system automatically switches to stored battery power, helping keep the home’s essential systems running without the homeowner having to do anything.

Considering solar battery backup for your home? Send us a message to find out what size system you would need.

This homeowner had a failed Enphase microinverter affecting production. After diagnosing the issue, we swapped the faulty microinverter and restored the system to 100% performance.

Keeping your system monitored means problems like this can be caught and fixed before they cost you more in lost production.

A new roof doesn’t mean saying goodbye to your solar investment.

For this project, we safely removed the homeowner’s solar system, partnered with Trust Quality Group as they completed the new roof, and then reinstalled the system once the roof was finished.

Our goal is to protect your equipment, preserve your investment, and get your system back online as quickly as possible.

Need a new roof but already have solar? We can coordinate the entire remove & reinstall process from start to finish.

We got a call from a homeowner whose solar system had been down for months.

They spent weeks trying to get ahold of their original installer before finally finding out the company had gone out of business. Luckily, they found us.

After a quick trip out, we found the issue: a blown fuse. We replaced the fuses, checked the disconnect, and torqued all wiring back to spec.

In just three months, this homeowner had already lost over $1,200 in solar production while the system sat idle.

This is exactly why it matters to have someone who can actually service your system when something goes wrong.

Every day your solar isn’t working, you’re losing money.

Out with the old, in with the new! Service call completed to replace a bad inverter and get this system back on track.

What does a solar inverter do?
Your solar panels collect energy from the sun, but the inverter is responsible for converting the energy they produce into usable electricity for your home.

This homeowner noticed his solar production had stopped and was left without support after his original installer went out of business. Fortunately, he found our team.

After troubleshooting the system, we determined the inverter had failed. We were able to work through the warranty process, get the inverter replaced, and restore the system back to full operation.

If your system isn’t producing like it should, don’t assume you need a whole new system. Sometimes the right troubleshooting and service call can get you back up and running.

We’ll be here for any future solar service, maintenance, or reinstall needs.

From hurricane damage to a brand-new rebuild, with solar reinstalled the right way. ☀️

After the 2024 hurricane, this waterfront home was rebuilt from the ground up. Once the new roof was ready, our team stepped in to safely reinstall the solar system and protect the homeowner’s investment.

This is exactly the type of work we specialize in. At Sun Lift Solar, we take on the complex removal and reinstallation jobs that many companies avoid, whether it’s storm damage, a roof replacement, a full rebuild, or a system left behind by the original installer.

When solar is already on your home, you need a team that knows how to handle the process correctly. That’s where we come in.
