Last month, APG had the opportunity to host Kelso Industries’ Third Quarter Town Hall Broadcast at our Clearwater Training Center — the first Kelso Town Hall held at one of its operating companies.

The broadcast featured updates from Kelso leadership on the company’s continued growth, performance, and improvements shaped by employee feedback. A highlight of the afternoon was seeing our own VDC Group Manager, Artie Hacket, receive Kelso’s “Values in Action” award for demonstrating the Core Value of Innovation. His team’s work continues to help expand our prefabrication capabilities and support some of our largest projects.

Following the Town Hall, APG employees, Kelso executives, and partners from visiting operating companies gathered for a Food Truck Social with food, games, desserts, and plenty of time to connect.

We’re proud of the team effort that went into hosting this event and grateful to everyone who helped make it possible. Congratulations to Artie on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you to Kelso Industries for the opportunity to host such a special occasion.

The Tampa General Hospital Taneja Surgical, Neuroscience & Transplant Tower project team recently celebrated another important milestone at Coppertail Brewing Co. in Tampa last week.

Employees from APG, QLM, and Gilbane came together for an evening of food, fellowship, raffle prizes, and recognition of the hard work that continues to move this project forward. Team members also received custom APG and TGH shirts to commemorate the occasion.

We’re proud of the progress being made at TGH and grateful to everyone whose dedication and teamwork have contributed to the project’s success. Congratulations on another milestone!

Another great APG tradition is in the books!

On Saturday, September 19, employees came together at Topgolf St. Petersburg for our 6th Annual Employee Appreciation Golf Tournament. With 6 bays filled with friendly competition, it was a great day to step away and enjoy time with coworkers.

APG was proud to participate in the Florida Health Care Association (FHCA) Annual Conference & Trade Show at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando.

The event brought together long-term care professionals from across the Southeast for education, networking, and collaboration. Our team enjoyed connecting with attendees, sharing information about our services, and supporting the Associate Member Support Committee's mission of strengthening partnerships throughout Florida's long-term care community.

After more than nine years with APG, we proudly celebrate the retirement of Austin Buxton and thank him for his years of leadership, guidance, and dedication to our people and projects.

Since joining APG in 2017, Austin advanced to Senior Project Manager and became known for his steady approach, willingness to share his experience, and commitment to helping others grow. He contributed to projects including the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine, St. Joseph’s Hospital South ED & Patient Tower Expansion, and the Discovery & Innovation Center at Moffitt Speros.

Austin’s greatest impact came through his mentorship and the lasting relationships he built with those around him. His consistency, clarity, and commitment to treating others fairly have made a lasting impression across APG.

As he begins retirement, Austin looks forward to traveling, spending time with family, boating, fishing, golfing, and enjoying projects around the house.

We thank Austin for his years of dedication, leadership, and friendship and wish him all the best in this next chapter.
