⏰TIME IS YOUR ROOF’S BEST FRIEND⏰
Did you know KAM Roofing offers service agreements for preventative roof inspections?
One of the biggest advantages a community has when it comes to roof maintenance is something you can’t buy later:
Time.
A great point from Bob Cardoza, COO of FirstService Residential, in the latest Common Ground: risk planning doesn’t require a degree. It requires knowing what you have, understanding where you’re vulnerable, and having a plan before something goes wrong.
For your community’s roof, that looks like:
🔍 Inspect before there’s a problem.
Roof systems have maintenance windows. Finding a failing component early can mean addressing a small issue instead of paying for the damage it creates.
📋 Document what you find.
Inspection reports and maintenance records give your board a clear history of the roof- and can be valuable when insurance questions arise.
📞 Know who to call.
When a leak or storm damage happens, you shouldn’t be searching for a roofer while water is coming through the ceiling. Have a plan in place before you need it.
🧾 Know your coverage.
Understanding what your association’s master policy covers- and where it doesn’t, is part of being proactive.
The goal isn’t to wait for your roof to tell you there’s a problem.
It’s to know what’s happening up there before the problem becomes an emergency.
📍 Ask KAM about a preventative roof inspection service agreement for your community.
