Luxury construction is often about the details most people don't notice.

For this fire feature and TV wall, we used Cambria slabs with a precisely mitered outside corner. Instead of having a visible seam where the two slabs meet, the pattern flows seamlessly around the corner.

That level of precision starts long before the material is installed. The subframe behind the Cambria had to be built perfectly plumb, level, and square - essentially like a cabinet - to make the miter work.

Our superintendent insisted on getting this detail right, because at Nelson Construction, quality isn't something we compromise on. It's about holding every part of the project to the standard we promise our clients.

The best craftsmanship is often in the details you don't immediately notice.

Good construction starts with planning the details before the walls ever go up.

For this guest bedroom, we worked with the client to determine exactly where the furniture would go before construction began. That allowed us to place outlets where they would actually be useful, position the window around the headboard, and plan dedicated power for the desk and TV.

It's a small detail that makes a big difference.

When you know how a room will be used ahead of time, you can build around the homeowner's lifestyle instead of fixing things after the fact. That means fewer changes, less wasted time, and a finished space that works exactly the way it should.
