🌊Florida Flood Awareness Week:

Flooding isn’t just caused by hurricanes. Heavy rainfall, rising water tables, and storm surge can all threaten your home🌧️Flood damage is one of the most expensive home repairs in Florida - smart renovations now can protect your biggest investment 🔑

Here are a few flood-resistant upgrades homeowners should consider:

✔ Install impact-rated doors and windows to reduce water intrusion during severe storms.
✔ Upgrade to flood-resistant flooring such as tile or sealed concrete instead of materials that absorb water.
✔ Replace lower wall materials with moisture-resistant drywall or cement board in vulnerable areas.
✔ Improve exterior grading and foundation protection to direct water away from your home.

At Big Bad Renovations, we help Florida homeowners strengthen their homes with durable materials and smart remodeling choices designed for our climate.

Preparation today can prevent major repairs tomorrow.
