Our SheLeads program team in Raleigh had a wonderful time volunteering at The Green Chair Project on Friday. This organization has been a vital resource for vulnerable families in Wake County since 2010. Green Chair Project mission is to provide furniture and essential household items that significantly improve the lives of individuals and families facing hardships. Our SheLeads program team in Charlotte had a great time volunteering at The Bulb Urban Farm located at Garinger High School. In total, our team harvested 76 lbs. of bell peppers and an estimated 40 lbs. of poblano peppers! 🤯🫑🌶️

Last week, our team celebrated the official opening of Lexington County’s new West Region Service Center 🎉

Our team enjoyed working with Lexington County to help make their vision for the new West Region Service Center a reality. We are thankful for our engineering partners, ADC Engineering, Inc., Felkel & Hastings Mechanical Engineers, ETI Engineering, and Miles Engineering Associates, as well as the contractor, Cohn Construction, for their hard work on this project.

🚓ABOUT THE PROJECT🚒
The new West Region Service Center combines several county services into one location, including a fire station, EMS center, sheriff’s office, and a county magistrate’s office. By combining these services into one strategically located campus, these public services are now more accessible to the growing communities on the west side of Lexington County.

Getting to Know Our New Associates

Since joining Boomerang in 2019, Hannah Steppe has successfully led interior design initiatives by skillfully blending aesthetics with functionality to create inviting, cohesive spaces. She collaborates with architects, designers, and clients, considering the local context while optimizing layouts for improved flow and usability. Additionally, Hannah selects furnishings and finishes that align with the design vision and works closely with contractors to ensure that each space is both functional and beautiful.

Kendall Yount joined our firm as an architectural intern in 2017 through the IPAL program in our Charlotte office. We supported her transfer to our Raleigh office, where she continued her studies at North Carolina State University.
