Sometimes, the best way to say “thank you” is to give the crew the day off. 🎣
After a summer of long days, hard work and getting the job done, Patty decided the Clayton Sand and Gravel crew had earned a different kind of day on the water.
So, they traded heavy equipment for fishing poles and headed out on the St. Lawrence River with two local brothers: Eric Swenson of Lori J Charters and Adam Swenson of Katy’s Worries.
Luckily, the fish were biting. And nobody had to move a single load of stone.
After a successful day on the river, everyone headed back to shore in Cape Vincent, where Eric fried up their catch of the day for a good old-fashioned shore dinner.
This is what Clayton Sand and Gravel is all about. A family-owned business that believes in working hard, taking care of its crew, supporting local, and appreciating this incredible community we get to call home.
