I still get pretty amped sometimes when I walk out and see my rig. It still feels new to me!

I sure love the work I do and there’s something pretty great about driving a rig that has all the tools I need and looks so fine doing it. 😎

A big shoutout to Digital Graffiti for helping make it look this good. If you need help branding your work vehicle, boat, trailer or maybe you just want something with a little extra flash. They’re the folks to call.

💚 I’ve been thinking about this lately and wanted to share what’s been on my mind. 💚

My son has been working alongside me and it’s given me a chance to see him in a whole different way. I’ve been really proud of the hard work and effort he puts in, his willingness to learn and the way he shows up and gets the job done.

Being a parent is one of the greatest gifts of my life and without question, one of the hardest jobs. There’s no manual for it. You do your best, make some mistakes along the way and hope you’re giving your kids what they need to eventually find their own way in the world.

Then every once in a while, you get a moment where you can stand back and think, Hey, this kid is doing pretty darn good.

Getting to work alongside my son has been one of those moments for me. I appreciate his hard work, I’m proud of the young man he’s becoming, and I’m grateful for the time we get to spend together; even if that time happens to involve septic tanks. 😂💩

No special occasion needed. Just a proud dad sharing what’s on his mind today. 💚

📞 There’s something I’m not sure I’ve ever said out loud: I love getting those emergency phone calls. 📞

When something goes wrong and a neighbor in our community needs help, I genuinely enjoy being the person they can call. Maybe it comes from my years in the service, or my days fighting fires, but showing up when people need a hand is just part of who I am.

And yes… even when the emergency involves a septic tank. 😂

Now for a little septic wisdom:

🚽 How much toilet paper is too much?
A good rule of thumb is to use only what you need. While toilet paper is designed to break down, flushing large wads all at once can increase the chance of clogs—especially if your plumbing or septic system is older.

And while we’re talking about flushing…

❌ Please don’t flush “flushable” wet wipes.
Despite the name, most wet wipes don’t break down like toilet paper. They can clog your pipes, damage pumps, and lead to expensive septic repairs.

Remember: The only things that should go down the toilet are the 3 Ps:
✔️ P*e
✔️ P**p
✔️ (Toilet) Paper

🚜 Another project in the books! 🚜

This past week we were out in Quincy replacing a 1,000-gallon septic tank and this one came with its own unique challenge.

Because the home has a daylight basement, the existing tank sat much deeper than a typical installation. Jobs like these take careful planning, the right equipment and plenty of teamwork to make sure everything is done safely and correctly.

One of the best parts of the week? Having my son by my side, lending a hand. There’s something special about working together, solving problems, and passing down the value of hard work from one generation to the next.

No two septic systems are exactly alike and that’s why experience matters. Whether it’s a routine tank replacement or a more complex installation, we’re committed to getting the job done right.
