✨ CUSTOM DISPLAY CASES — FINISHED & READY FOR INSTALL! ✨
We just wrapped up these beautiful custom-built display cases here at D.C.W Cabinetry LLC, and they’re officially finished and waiting for installation!
For this project, we wanted a finish that would really make these cases stand out. We used a Renner water-based stain custom tinted to a smoky grey, giving the wood a rich, unique tone while still allowing the natural grain and character to show through.
Then we topped everything off with Gemini EVO Hi-Gloss Water-Based Clearcoat for that deep, polished finish you see in the photos. 🔥
And of course, those full glass cabinet doors are going to make these display cases perfect for showcasing what’s inside while turning the cabinetry itself into part of the display.
These are the kinds of projects we love—custom built, custom finished, and made specifically for the space and purpose they’re going into.

🔨 A NEARLY 20-FOOT CUSTOM BOOKCASE IS UNDERWAY! 🔨
Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at the beginning stages of one of the larger built-in projects currently taking shape in our shop at D.C.W Cabinetry LLC!
This massive custom bookcase will span nearly 20 feet when completed and is being built as 5 separate cabinet sections that will come together during installation to create one seamless built-in.
And the color? 🔵 Rogue Blue!
Once fabrication is complete, these cabinets will head into our spray booth where we’ll spray them in this bold Rogue Blue finish. We’re excited to see this one completely transformed once the color goes on!
There’s still plenty of work ahead, but projects like this are exactly why we love custom cabinetry. Built from scratch. Built for the space. Built to make a statement.

Today, we’re celebrating “Man’s Best Friend” — our loyal, loving, four-legged family members who somehow manage to make every day a little better. ❤️

Here’s a sneak peek at a set of custom cabinets we just finished building at D.C.W Cabinetry LLC that will be heading out for installation this week right here in Clarksville!
For this custom pantry project, the homeowners wanted something a little different from your typical cabinet setup. These cabinets feature:

🎨 Professionally finished shaker-style doors

The Salice WIND hardware allows these large doors to lift upward instead of swinging out into the room—making them a great option for a pantry where you want easy access without cabinet doors getting in the way.
And we have to admit...there’s something pretty satisfying about watching one of these big doors smoothly lift up and out of the way! 😎
These are just one part of the custom pantry cabinetry we've built for this Clarksville home, and we can't wait to get everything installed and show you the finished project!

Here’s a little sneak peek at what’s currently being built in the D.C.W Cabinetry LLC shop!
We’re working on these custom cabinet doors for an upcoming custom bookcase project, and they’re definitely going to make a statement. 👀
Rather than going with a standard cabinet door, we’re incorporating this barn-door-inspired design with diagonal accents to give the finished bookcase a unique, handcrafted look.
This is one of our favorite things about building truly custom cabinetry—we aren’t limited to standard sizes, styles, or designs. If you have an idea, we can work with you to turn it into something built specifically for your home and your space. 🔨🪚

⚠️ A Friendly Safety Reminder from D.C.W Cabinetry LLC ⚠️
This isn't our typical cabinetry or woodworking post, but it's an important reminder that could help protect your home and your family.
For the past couple of months, our dryer has been taking multiple cycles to completely dry a load of clothes. Today, we decided to inspect the dryer vent, and what we found was shocking... loads of lint had built up inside the vent, creating several major obstructions.
A clogged dryer vent doesn't just make your dryer work harder—it can also: ✅ Increase drying times
✅ Drive up your energy bill
✅ Shorten the life of your dryer by restricting airflow
✅ Create musty or burning odors while drying
🚨 Most importantly, it can become a serious fire hazard.
If you've noticed your dryer taking longer than normal to dry clothes or you've smelled something unusual during a cycle, don't ignore it. Inspect and clean your dryer vent, or if you're not comfortable doing it yourself, have it professionally cleaned.
A little maintenance today could prevent a devastating dryer fire tomorrow.
