Replaced tempstar with a Lynx Ducane system today. The Lynx is a modulating heat pymp. This one goes up to 3 ton, but they also have that modulated from 3 ton to 5 ton. Very hot day but thankful for being able to get my costumer's house to cool again and restore comfort.

Please turn the cooling off and fan to on if you know or think it is frozen. Check your filter monthly. When the coil is frozen it can cause a lot of problems and eventually, damage. With a furnace I can thaw the coil out. If you have an air handler is turns into a return trip and your ac has to be off until I can do the repair work.

Had a unit built in1988. It had several small issues but was still running. Because the drain pan was leaking condensation and the manufacturer had discontinued parts to repair the pan it had to be replaced. During the install we also preformed checks on the furnace to insure it needed to be replaced. We installed a breaker style disconnect. We also installed adjustable rises to insure the unit can be releveled if needed at a later date. And with it being off the ground it will help the coil to stay cleaner longer.

Costumer's second floor unit was leaking refrigerant. Charged system to get them through for a couple of days. He went ahead and replaced all 3 systems due to age of equipment. He now has equipment that is more efficient and I also fixed some of the issues due to original install.

Yeah, this looks funny, but you wouldn't have to consider it if regular maintenance is done on your a/c unit to keep it ...

Steam piping had a few leaks. Temporarily patched hole. Returned and replaced piping. Also replaced low water control for tank fill.

No heat call. Found that furnace was cutting out on high temperature limit. Found the problem was due to a dirty blower ...

No heat call. Found that furnace was cutting out on high temperature limit. Found the problem was due to a dirty blower wheel. The dirty wheel was not able the move enough air causing it to eventually lock out. Cleaned wheel and furnace is heating fine. Check and change your filters.

Got called out to work on a boiler that was not heating. Found boiler to have several sections on the heat exchanger leaking among other problems. With the damage I could not fire up the boiler even temporarily. During boiler replacement found several problems where caused by improper install of original boiler. Took a little extra time but was able to correct those problems and installed boiler to manufacture specifications.

System Change out. Old system's basement return in basement after filter, coil, motor and outdoor unit had multiple issues. Priced out repairs verses replacement. Customer decided to replace System. In addition to equipment install we installed media filter (in proper location), UV light and humidifier.
