I don’t think people always see what it takes behind the scenes to keep a shop moving at this level.
I’ve faced a lot of challenges building E&J, but nothing has challenged me quite like learning how to properly run an industrial controls shop while also managing commercial and industrial crews in the field.
There are a thousand moving pieces every day—employees, payroll, training, equipment, materials, deadlines, customers, quality control, safety, estimating, and making sure the next project is lined up before the current one is finished.
Some days you get it right. Some days you learn an expensive lesson. But every day we keep building.
And right now, E&J is growing.
We’re expanding our industrial capabilities, building and wiring control panels in-house, taking on larger commercial and industrial projects, developing our people, and investing heavily into becoming a more complete electrical contractor.
I’m extremely proud of what this team is becoming, but more than anything, I’m thankful.
Thankful for our employees who show up and put in the work.
Thankful for the contractors and companies willing to give us an opportunity.
Thankful for the vendors, friends, families, and people in our community who recommend our name and support a local business trying to build something that lasts.
Every opportunity matters to us. Every recommendation matters. Every person who has trusted E&J has played a part in getting us here.
We still have a long way to go—and that’s the exciting part.
We’re not finished building. We’re just getting started.
Thank you for continuing to support E&J Electric. ⚡️
