Our design team is excited to celebrate the opening of a new St. Luke’s Health Center in Hellertown! This 13,000-square-foot facility offers walk-in care, X-ray services, and laboratory services. As always, we are grateful to the St. Luke’s facilities team for trusting us to bring this project to life.

St. Luke’s University Health Network opened a new health center in Hellertown offering expanded primary care, same-day services, and on-site diagnostics.

We’re back with another nod to our Interior Design Department! This month’s Material to Moment highlights the materials selected for a renovated laboratory in Bucknell University’s Rooke Science Center.

This lab is part of a larger, multiphase renovation that will transform a significant portion of the building over the next six years.

Key selections were made with the help of the following brands:

Sherwin Williams for the Floors and Paint
Laminart and Abet Laminati for the Cabinets
Formica for countertops

Last week, we shared that members of the BDA team attended the ribbon cutting for Geisinger’s newest facility in Lewisburg, PA, home to a state-of-the-art Cancer Center. This week, we’re taking you inside for a closer look at the completed space!

Designed to expand access to high-quality cancer care in the region, the new facility features 12 infusion bays, multiple exam rooms, a linear accelerator, CT services, dedicated office space, and room for future expansion on the second floor.

We’re proud to have played a role in bringing this important space to life and supporting the future of cancer care in the Lewisburg community.

A major project to replace the dilapidated lakefront facilities at Merli-Sarnoski Park in Fell Twp. will soon begin after Lackawanna County OK’d a $1.6 million contract.

Last Friday, our Lehigh Valley and Clarks Summit offices came together for a day of team building, great conversation, and plenty of fun! 🏁🍷

We kicked off the day with some friendly competition on the go-kart track before slowing things down with wine tastings at Vynecrest Winery and Stone Farm Cellars. It was a great opportunity to connect with colleagues from both offices, strengthen relationships, and enjoy some well-deserved time together outside the office.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a memorable day.

In collaboration with Sordoni Construction Services, Inc., our summer interns had the unique opportunity to switch places with Sordoni's interns for a day, gaining firsthand insight into different sides of the design and construction industry. We were excited to welcome Ava Giovagnoli, Matt Mesaris, and Shawn Cawley to BDA Architects, where they got an inside look at our day-to-day operations. Throughout the day, they met with team members across a variety of departments, learning how architects, interior designers, and other professionals collaborate to bring projects from concept to construction.

Meanwhile, our BDA interns spent the day at Sordoni Construction, where they learned about construction management, project coordination, and the many responsibilities involved in bringing projects to life in the field. The intern exchange provided everyone with a broader perspective on how the design and construction teams work together, highlighting the importance of collaboration throughout every stage of a project.

We're excited to welcome our 2026 summer interns to BDA!⭐

This summer, we're pleased to have Brianna Conniff joining our Clarks Summit office, where she'll be supporting our Interior Design department. Brianna is currently a student at Marywood University. We also welcome Ryan Toth, another Marywood University Pacer, who will be working in our Lehigh Valley office.

Returning to BDA this summer are Jaqueline Vega in our Lehigh Valley office and Nick Peters in our Clarks Summit office.

We're thrilled to have all four interns on board and look forward to helping them gain valuable hands-on experience while they contribute to our team.
