We're going back to 2014 for our next Rendering to Reality feature!

This project was designed for our longest-standing client, Geisinger, and is located on Mount Pleasant Drive in Scranton, PA. The medical office building brings together a variety of healthcare services, including family practice, specialty clinics, radiology, a clinical lab, retail pharmacy, women's health, and ophthalmology.

Designed with a holistic approach, the building emphasizes a strong connection to the outdoors while incorporating environmentally responsible design principles. This two-story lobby featuring a large, nature-inspired artwork panel serves as the focal point, uniting both floors and strengthening the indoor-outdoor connection.

We are honored that Geisinger has trusted us with their vision for decades. It has been a privilege to help create spaces that support patients, providers, and communities, and we look forward to seeing their continued impact for years to come.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family and friends this weekend, we reflect with gratitude on the freedoms made possible by those who gave everything in service to others.

Recently, our Lehigh Valley Office came together for the Volunteer Challenge hosted by the Volunteer Center of Lehigh Valley to support the Valley Youth House with a much-needed refresh of their spaces.

In collaboration with bam associates, Designtex , Tarkett Contract, K+H Custom Window Treatments, IWS, Green Pond Nursery Supply, and LVHN-Jefferson, our team helped transform these outdated rooms into more welcoming, kid-friendly environments. Updates included new furniture, bright artwork, greenery, and other thoughtful design touches to help create a more comfortable and uplifting space for the children they serve.

Our team not only developed the floor plans and design concepts, but also spearheaded the collaboration efforts and spent an afternoon bringing the vision to life through hands-on renovations.

We are also proud to share that our partnership earned 1st place in the Small Business category!

Honored to have worked alongside Valley Youth House during The Volunteer Challenge of Lehigh Valley. We’re so proud of our team for earning 1st place in the small business category. On this day in 1991, the shareholders of BDA welcomed 19-year-old Alan Harris to what would become his “second home” for the next 35 years (and hopefully many more, too!).

As our Director of IT/BIM, Al is quite literally the center of BDA. He keeps all things in REVIT organized, our technology running smoothly, and continually helps us stay ahead of the curve both inside and outside the office.

Al is the go-to person for just about everyone here. For many employees, he’s one of the very first people they learn from, and he continues guiding them through every technical question throughout their careers at BDA.

Simply put, Al is awesome. We’d be completely lost without him, and we’re grateful for every opportunity to celebrate him and all he’s done for our team over the last 35 years.

On Saturday, May 9th, our team proudly supported the American Heart Association's Heart Walk at PNC Field. It was a great day spent connecting with members of our community, supporting such an important cause, and hanging out together outside of the office.
