☁️ we love a surprise guest appearance… 🦋
If you see me setting up an arbor I’m 9/10 times listing to crime ju**ie, swigging water, backin’ up to get a good look, and saying “oh she cute” before cleaning up.
Loved that I wasn’t alone while making this arbor. 🌸🦋🌸

1. Just greenery and baby’s breath are cheaper options.
—simple greenery can be a cheaper option, however, a lot of Pinterest inspired looks come from layers of greens, multiple greens to create texture, and hours of work. Same with baby’s breath, it takes a lot of stems to create that “cloud” look and it can quickly become an expensive option due to the labor.
2. Fake flowers are cheaper.
—this actually isn’t a myth, some fake flowers are cheaper, however, some fake flowers look cheaper. If expense is an issue, talk to a florist like me about DIY options.
3. We charge more for a bouquet because it’s a “wedding”…
—we really don’t, I charge for the occasion. With a wedding, I have to place bulk orders, pay for delivery, work long hours, etc. There’s so much that goes into wedding day florals compared to going to my garden to pick a $30 bouquet.
4. Flowers aren’t necessary.
—while I don’t think you need flowers EVERYWHERE for them to make a statement I do think when you don’t have flowers ANYWHERE it makes a bigger statement. Allowing for statement pieces sets the vibe of your event, and a few statement pieces go a long way!

Have you been following me THIS long?
I wanted this photo taken because it tells a story. My father started a hop ( 🍻 ) farm years ago, it was beautiful, and a passion of my father’s.
However, the hop field yielded more hops than customers… and quickly started looking fruitless. . . So, my father offered the field for me to grow flowers for my wedding the following year.
That’s it. Where one dream fizzled out, another passion ignited! 🌸✨
I grew dahlias that first year, and a bunch of weeds on accident, but I was hooked.
So here’s my thank you, thank you dad for this and much more 🤍
