Thank you to the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Oklahoma (AICCO) OKC Chapter for a great luncheon yesterday!

Connect Advisors was proud to sponsor this month’s luncheon, where Tyler McManaman, Managing Director of our Oklahoma City office, had the opportunity to share more about Connect’s multidisciplinary approach to Owner’s Representation and how we support Tribal Nations through planning, design, procurement, construction, and beyond.

Tyler highlighted the importance of having a dedicated advocate on the Owner’s side, bringing together the right expertise, creating alignment among project teams, and supporting informed decisions throughout every phase of a project.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with Tribal leaders, business professionals, and community partners while sharing how Connect can serve as a resource for future projects and capital initiatives.

Thank you to AICCO and everyone who joined us for the conversation!

Better cost information creates a stronger foundation for the decisions that follow.

Independent Cost Estimating + Modeling brings an independent cost perspective to the project, helping Owners better understand budgets, evaluate options and anticipate potential cost impacts as decisions are made.

For Architects and Design Teams, that same expertise can serve as an additional resource throughout the design process, providing cost insight to support design decisions and maintain alignment between design intent, scope and budget.

From early planning through design and construction, the objective is not simply another estimate. It is clearer information that supports informed decisions throughout the project.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our teammate and friend, Allen Franklin, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Allen was a cherished member of the Connect family and someone who earned the trust and respect of nearly everyone he encountered. His knowledge and experience were invaluable, but what made Allen truly special extended far beyond his professional accomplishments.

He was a trusted advisor, mentor, sounding board and friend. He gave generously of his wisdom, believed deeply in the work we do and represented Connect Advisors with tremendous pride, class and character.

Allen valued the relationships behind the work. Whether you knew him for years or had only recently crossed paths with him, he had a way of leaving an impression. His impact can be seen in the colleagues he mentored, the clients and partners he served and the friendships he built along the way.

Above all, Allen deeply loved his family. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Ladonna, his children, grandchildren and all those who loved him.

Today, we remember a tremendous man, a dear friend and an irreplaceable member of our Connect family.

Please keep the Franklin family in your thoughts and prayers.❤️

September 30 is the National Day of Remembrance for Indian Boarding School Survivors, also recognized as Orange Shirt Day.

Today, we honor the children who were taken from their families and communities, those who never returned home, the Survivors who carry these experiences, and the families and generations forever impacted by the Indian boarding school era.

Remembrance begins with listening and learning. We encourage our team, partners, and communities to take time today to learn more about the history of Indian boarding schools, listen to Survivor stories, and carry that understanding beyond September 30.
