Nestled along Table Rock Lake, this custom log home, "The Shell K**b," was designed to bring the outdoors in, with soaring ceilings, expansive windows, and breathtaking views from nearly every room. Built with eastern white pine logs and thoughtfully customized for retirement living, every detail reflects comfort, craftsmanship, and a love for gathering with family and friends.

This is what happens when timeless log home design meets a one-of-a-kind location.

REAL LOG HOMES Authorized Independent Representative, O.R. Gooch & Son, Inc., talks about the construction materials and craftsmanship behind this incredible REAL LOG HOMES project.

One of the most impressive parts is that every component from Real Log Homes arrives pre-cut for an efficient assembly process. As Ben says, “If you know your ABC’s and can count to 26, you're half way there.”

From precision manufacturing to handcrafted log details, this roof system showcases the perfect blend of engineering, simplicity, and authentic log home craftsmanship.

There’s nothing better than hearing directly from the builders who know our brand best.

Ben Gooch is a 3rd generation Real Log Homes independent representative and owner of O.R. Gooch & Son, Inc., and they've been building our homes since the beginning in 1963! He's seen firsthand the craftsmanship, quality, and care that goes into every project we craft. What stands out most is the commitment to designing timeless spaces that are built to last and tailored to each customer’s vision.
