Field Engineer / Construction Surveyor
Chilton Contractors is accepting applications for a Field Engineer / Construction Surveyor.
Responsibilities
• Conduct field layout for civil construction projects such as roadway improvement projects and residential / commercial site work projects.
• Interpret the plans to be able to stake out required work.
Qualifications and Experience
• Required 3 years of field experience in construction layout required.
• Precision in stakeout work is particularly important.
• Must have a clear understanding of reading civil site plans.
• Experience with data collectors, electronic or robotic total stations, levels, GPS equipment, Carlson software, and computers
• Strong verbal communication skills.
