Sometimes the best home projects aren’t the ones you planned—they’re the ones that finally solve the problem.

After tree damage created an unexpected repair, this homeowner decided to look beyond the immediate damage and address the ice dams that had been returning for several winters.

Once the vaulted roof was opened, we confirmed that inadequate insulation and poor ventilation were contributing to the problem.

Instead of waiting for another winter, the homeowner applied part of the available project budget toward a complete solution and used an easy monthly payment option for the additional improvements.

Now the tree damage is being repaired, the vaulted ceiling is properly insulated, and the underlying ice-dam problem is being addressed—not temporarily covered up.

🐾 Zero sick days since 2015… but the break policy is getting pretty generous.

Marley turns 11 this November, and he hasn’t missed a day of work since joining me in 2015.

He’s supervised roofing and siding projects, attended countless inspections and greeted more homeowners than we could ever count. He has the social skills of a seasoned salesman—and more jobsite experience than plenty of people in the roofing industry.

Marley isn’t just our mascot. He’s my best friend, everyday partner and the best work dog I could ask for.

Now he wants to meet the rest of the four-legged workforce!

A blank wall became a backyard destination. 🏡

Before this project, the homeowners had plenty of backyard space—but no comfortable way to step outside and truly enjoy it.

Now they have a large, low-maintenance outdoor living area designed around how their family uses the property. The finished deck features rich composite decking, clean picture-frame details, sleek black railing, and stair access from both ends for a natural connection to the entire backyard.
