TMI recently had the pleasure of working with the IEC of Greater Cincinnati on the installation of a solar energy system located at their training facility. TMI and the IEC staff will utilize this new PV array as a solar energy educational tool for future IEC classes. Breaking news! Ohio lawmakers have introduced a new bill to create a community solar pilot program. Many homeowners and businesses cannot install solar on their own roof or property. The passing of HB 197 would allow for citizens and businesses to subscribe to local solar energy installations to reduce their utility bills, promote grid stability and modernization. 27 other states have already successfully created similar programs.
