If you could have an equal (or better) lifestyle without the use of fossil fuels, would you? And cleaner air would lead to better health outcomes? And if the economies of the world would benefit from more jobs and fewer health related expenses?Then why not push to reduce the use of fossil fuels and instead invest in electric/renewable energy sources?

The fossil fuel companies know that there are better ways to produce energy, but until we force them to push the boundaries, they are going to do what is easiest and which makes them the most money in the short term.
