Our trip to was so inspiring. But I think what surprised us the most was the pops of color everywhere. We get to these buildings when they are very faded and worn, so to see the colors as they would have looked in the early 19th century was really cool. Also my obsession for Windsor Chairs has only intensified now. Oh well, there are worst things to covet.

Took a little road trip to for some inspiration. Excited to get started on the Morse House fireplaces, and still pinching ourselves that we are the current stewards.

We had no idea that just barely lying under the dirt and dust was the old painted floor colors. Some more vibrant than others. But how cool is this!? Just more inspiration for the restoration!

It’s been a long time since we last checked in. And for good reasons. Mostly family. But also a huge revamping of our brand and company to take us to our next chapter. Notice I didn’t say “level”. It’s chapters in this house. We decide where and how. Owning our lives to absolute fullest extent is something I wish for everyone. And if you also happen to find happiness in the process, then you’ve succeeded at life.

I can’t believe it’s been over 2 years! I had a one week old when we signed the closing docs for this building. Wyatt was 3. If you look closely in the second pic, you can see the boss in the right bottom corner. I really love this old gal but the time has come to let her go. She’d make a fantastic investment opportunity or turn her into your own business with great street frontage and prime location in the most revitalized block of Batavia’s Main St. All updated, but you already know that. Let’s help find her new steward! Spread the word!
