Kenton County Fiscal Court officially approved Prus Construction as construction manager for the NEW Kenton County Park — another exciting milestone as this transformational project moves closer to breaking ground later this year!

Spanning 225 acres, this future park will become the largest in Kenton County’s park system and a destination for recreation, gathering, trails and outdoor adventure for generations to come. While new amenities are on the way, preserving the natural beauty of the property remains at the heart of the vision. 🌿

Big shoutout to Art’s Rental Equipment for helping us keep the Bass Island boardwalk project moving forward. We recently used their new telehandler during installation, and it made a huge difference for our crew. The added reach and efficiency helped save a few days on the schedule.

Projects like Bass Island depend on the right equipment and strong local partnerships, and this was a great example of both coming together on site. We appreciate the support from the Art’s Rental team.

It’s happening! The reconstruction of the upper Warner Street Steps is finally underway! The rebuilt stairway will reforge a walking connection from West McMicken Avenue to Fairview Avenue for the first time in decades. More so, there will soon be a continuous walking route from Vine Street to the Western Hills Viaduct, as plans to rebuild the Polk Street Steps are underway.

We’re proud to announce that Prus Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk for the Beckett Park West Expansion Project in West Chester Township.

This exciting community investment will bring major improvements to Beckett Park, including eight new pickleball courts, expanded parking, new playground features and safety surfacing, walking path enhancements, increased splash pad seating, and additions to the existing restroom and shelter facilities. The project is designed to enhance accessibility, recreation, and the overall park experience for residents and visitors throughout the community.

Thank you to West Chester Township - Government for the opportunity and trust in our team. We’re excited to partner once again with Brandstetter Carroll Inc, whose team is leading the project design, and continue our strong working relationship as we bring these improvements to life for the community.

Yesterday afternoon marked an exciting milestone for Northern Kentucky as community leaders, partners, and supporters gathered for the Phase 2 Ludlow Riverwalk ribbon cutting. This next section of the Riverfront Commons project continues the vision of connecting river cities along the Ohio River with a scenic, accessible space for residents and visitors to enjoy.

The completed phase will help create a seamless path for runners, cyclists, and families while adding new opportunities for recreation, connection, and economic growth along Ludlow’s riverfront. Projects like this leave a lasting impact on the communities they serve, and we’re proud to celebrate everyone who helped bring this vision to life alongside the The City of Ludlow, Ludlow Independent Schools, SOUTHBANK PARTNERS, and Cardinal Engineering Corporation.
