Made a couple owl boxes for some friends who live out on a bunch of property near Chillicothe. Hopefully they’ll be a cozy home for some bard owls in the near future.

If you live in the Cincinnati area and eat BBQ, you have to check out Pig Candy Bbq. It’s my favorite restaurant in the city, both Kellogg and Loveland locations do a fantastic job. Last week my wife wanted to go on Thursday for potato bomb night, so I was able to drop off a toy pig display I made for the place. I hope everyone that sees it gets a good laugh and some good BBQ too.

It’s September and my (currently) last scheduled mud kitchen build of the summer. There is still time if anyone wants one before winter hits, I can always build one more. Also wanted to thank my father in law Al for helping with the delivery today, the 2 little boys and I really appreciate it. Seeing the excited kids, and sometimes even excited parents, is one of the best parts of building these.

Delivered another mud kitchen this morning to a little guy who was so excited about it that we forgot to get a photo!

Last year, I’d hoped to make it to my 100th mud kitchen build. Well, a second cancer diagnosis caused that to be delayed. But - here we are! Finally hit number 100! My wife and I cannot thank everyone enough for the support of my venture. I never dreamed I’d be able to do something like this, but to get to build stuff in my garage every day is exactly what I want to do.

And major shoutout to Jennifer Meyer for asking years ago if I could build a mud kitchen, even though I had no clue what one was at the time.

We love getting photos of my mud kitchens in use! Check this one out from my “double delivery” last weekend.

It’s not every day I deliver two mud kitchens in one go. One went to West Chester to some very excited triplets (hence the lack of photo, they couldn’t wait to play!) and the second made it to Springboro.
