Homeowners, when you're comparing roofing contractors, don't stop at the shingle brand.

We are a CertainTeed ShingleMaster™ PREMIER contractor. Homeowners working with contractors holding its ShingleMaster PRO or PREMIER designation may be eligible for enhanced SureStart™ PLUS warranty coverage, depending on the qualifying roof system and warranty selected.

Product choice matters too. Certainteed’s Landmark® ClimateFlex® shingles have been tested for some of the conditions your roof may face, including hail impacts, fire exposure, and high winds. They earned a Class 4 impact rating, a Class A fire rating, and high classifications in two industry wind tests.

We combine manufacturer credentialing with our roofing company, which has served Greater Cincinnati since 1945.

We're hiring Foremen, Laborers, and Service Technicians to join us!

This isn't a company built around one type of roofing. Since 1945, we've worked across residential and commercial roofing, and today our capabilities include asphalt shingles, low slope commercial systems, standing seam and specialty sheet metal, tile, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

We're also a third-generation, family-owned company with certified installation capabilities across multiple major commercial manufacturers. That means joining our team can put you around a broad range of roofing systems and project types, rather than a single product or application.

Contact us today to ask about our open positions.

We don't work in just one corner of roofing.

For homeowners, our steep-slope capabilities include asphalt shingles, clay and concrete tile, slate, wood shakes and shingles, and standing seam systems in materials including prefinished steel, copper, zinc and stainless steel.

For commercial property owners, we work with low-slope technologies including EPDM, TPO, PVC, BUR and modified-bitumen systems, along with commercial standing seam metal roofing.

We also provide commercial roof repair and preventative maintenance programs, giving property owners a way to work with us beyond the initial installation.

That breadth of experience has been built since 1945, across three generations of family ownership.

Whether we're looking at a family home or a commercial facility, we bring that broader roofing perspective to the project.

A clean-looking roof from the ground does not guarantee that the entire roofing system is watertight.

Some leaks begin in components you cannot easily see, including flashing, roof penetrations, valleys, underlayment, sealants, and ventilation-related areas. Water can also travel along roof decking, framing, insulation, or underlayment before it finally appears as a ceiling stain somewhere else inside the home.

That is why we do not stop at looking for missing or damaged shingles.

We evaluate the complete roofing system to identify the actual point of water entry. We also hold CertainTeed's ShingleMaster™ PREMIER credential, the manufacturer's highest company credential for residential roofing contractors, and we combine that ongoing manufacturer training with more than 80 years of roofing experience since 1945.

If you are seeing a ceiling stain, damp insulation, or another sign of moisture, the problem may already be developing beneath shingles that still look perfectly normal.

A commercial roof isn't something we select from a one-product menu.

Roof configuration, existing assembly and project requirements can call for very different solutions. That's why the breadth of our commercial roofing experience matters.

We install and service low-slope systems including BUR, EPDM, APP, SBS, TPO/PVC and flat-seam metal. Our commercial capabilities also include project-specific metal profiles fabricated by us.

We're also licensed by major commercial manufacturers including Duro-Last®, Elevate, Garland, GAF and Carlisle, and our history in Greater Cincinnati goes back to 1945.

That combination gives us something important when we evaluate a building: options.

We can evaluate the roof and discuss which system fits the actual project instead of forcing every building into the same roofing solution.

In 1945, Eckstein Roofing began serving Greater Cincinnati.

More than 80 years later, we're still here, now under third-generation family ownership.

But longevity alone isn't what defines us.

Over those decades, our capabilities have expanded across both residential and commercial roofing, from asphalt shingles and wood shakes to clay and concrete tile, slate, standing seam metal, copper, zinc and stainless steel. On the commercial side, our experience includes EPDM, TPO, PVC, BUR, APP, SBS and specialty metal systems.

We have watched roofing materials, installation methods and building technologies change across generations.

Our responsibility has stayed remarkably consistent:

Understand the roof. Do the work correctly. Stand behind the relationship.
That's what more than eight decades in the same community means to us.

When property owners compare standing seam metal roofing to architectural shingles, the higher upfront price is usually the first thing they notice.

But installation price isn't the whole investment.

Standing seam systems use concealed fasteners beneath raised seams, protecting those fasteners from direct weather exposure. The Metal Construction Association identifies long service life, low life-cycle cost, sustainability, and wind resistance among the advantages associated with standing seam metal roofing. For us, metal isn't an occasional specialty we outsource. Specialty metal roofing is part of what we do.

Since 1945, we've built experience across both residential and commercial roofing. Today, our third-generation family-owned company works with standing seam systems while also installing CertainTeed residential systems and commercial roofing systems including Duro-Last®. That breadth matters because we don't have to make one roofing material fit every property.

Sometimes standing seam is the right investment. Sometimes architectural shingles make more sense.

The real question isn't simply, “Which roof costs less today?” It's “Which roofing system makes the most sense for my property, priorities, and budget?”

Seeing water on the ceiling is stressful enough. You shouldn't also have to wonder whether calling a roofer automatically means being sold a replacement.

That's not how we approach roof repair.

Our technicians inspect the roof to determine whether a targeted repair is appropriate. Our stated approach is to extend the roof's life whenever possible and recommend replacement when it is the safer, more cost-effective long-term solution.

Our repair capabilities include leak detection, storm damage, shingles and tile, ventilation and flashing. And we've been working on Greater Cincinnati roofs since 1945.

You don't need to diagnose the roof yourself.

A roofing shingle is only part of a roofing system. Installation details matter too.

These are the kinds of details we want homeowners to understand when comparing roofing systems. We have installed and maintained steep-slope roofs in Greater Cincinnati since 1945.
