New apartments are taking shape in Van Buren, NY!

We’re proud to be part of bringing CDS Van Buren Apartments to the Baldwinsville community. This new development will feature 70 apartments across three buildings, including a 50-unit, 55,000-square-foot building and two 10-unit, 13,000-square-foot townhome buildings.

The TenM team is putting our multi-trade approach to work across the project, handling framing, window and door installation, and finish trim.

Local projects are always special to us, but the purpose behind this build makes it even more meaningful. Accessibility is being incorporated throughout the development, with features such as wider door openings, ramps, and other design elements intended to better accommodate residents with physical and developmental disabilities.

It’s the kind of project we’re proud to help build right here in Central New York. Together, we’re creating something that strengthens our community and makes a lasting impact for years to come.

Talk about a buzzin’ job site!

Deliveries are rolling in, and we’re putting a few new machines to work getting materials where they need to be so our crews can keep building.

This redevelopment project is walking distance from the Syracuse Zoo, and it includes the demolition of the former campus and new construction of multiple buildings that will bring a mix of uses to the site, including affordable housing apartments.

Our team has been busy tackling large-scale wood framing while also giving some of our newer teammates hands-on training with window installation.

Meet one of our Project Managers, Josh "Chubby" Spicer!

Josh has been part of TenM since the beginning. He has played an important role in the company's growth, bringing his hands-on knowledge to projects and helping keep them moving forward.

“Josh has strong knowledge in multiple trades, but what’s most impressive is his ability to see beyond those areas and into how all the pieces will fit together. He is always willing to lend any knowledge or a helping hand in areas needed. What was once a plowed-out lot is now a luxury, forest-inspired apartment community built to feel like an escape without being far from the action.

Located in West Hartford, Connecticut, this new community is surrounded by trees, a mountain, a river, and miles of trails for residents to explore.

TenM Construction was proud to play a role in this project. Our team completed more than 190,000 square feet of framing, along with complex beam work and rough carpentry throughout the building.

We had several TenM crews working across this site, and they knocked it out of the park. Their craftsmanship, coordination, and hard work are what made a project of this scale possible!

We’re grateful to say TenM is growing fast, and we’re looking for more skilled tradespeople to join our team.

Great projects are built by great people, and JJ Taylor is one of the leaders who keeps our team moving forward.

As a Finish Carpentry Supervisor at TenM Construction, JJ brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-first mentality to every jobsite. He leads commercial trim projects with a focus on quality, safety, and staying on schedule, while working closely with his crew and the other trades around him.

As TenM Project Manager Zachary Schiffer puts it, “JJ is an outstanding leader who stands behind his work. He communicates clearly, leads by example, and understands that doing the job right means looking out for the project and the people behind it.”
