At first glance, this looked like a simple cosmetic update. The homeowner wanted to replace the shower floor for a fresh new look.

But once we removed the existing mud-set shower floor, we uncovered something they couldn't see—a failed shower pan system hidden beneath the tile.

Problems like these are impossible to diagnose from the surface. That's why proper demolition and inspection are critical before any shower repair.

PREP WORK: concrete had humps and was unleved. TG floated floor to level and grinded down the humps (dust free)
