🏗️ Another great project completed by Joey Construction LLC!

We just wrapped up a concrete slab replacement for the Zaunbrecher family, and we couldn’t be more proud of how it turned out! The before and after speaks for itself. A brand new patio slab that will last for decades.

The owners had nothing but kind words for our crew and we truly appreciate the trust they placed in us. That kind of feedback is what drives us to keep delivering quality work every single day. 🙏

Here are a couple things that separate our work from the rest:

⚠️ Wire mesh on the ground = weak concrete. When wire mesh is just laying flat on the ground, the concrete pours right over it with NO benefit. The mesh needs to be elevated to sit in the middle of the slab where it actually reinforces it. We do it right — every time.

🔩 Dial pins tied to the existing home. We drill and pin the new slab directly to the existing structure so the new concrete bonds properly and won’t separate or shift away from the house over time. That’s a detail a lot of crews skip — we don’t.

From tree removal and removal of root ball to a concrete demo and repour and install of a new 12’’x12’’ post, we handle it all under one roof. 💪

🏠✨ Project Complete, And the Results Speak for Themselves!
We finished this a while back, but just getting time to post.

What started as a closed-off layout is now one of the most open and beautiful living spaces we’ve built. This transformation is DONE and we couldn’t be more proud of how it came together.

Here’s what the finished product looks like:

• Porcelain tile flowing through the dining area. clean, sharp, and polished
• Hardwood floors gleaming throughout the living room
• Two-tone walls with wainscoting tying the entire space together seamlessly
• Shiplap ceiling extending wall to wall. one cohesive look from every angle
• Recessed lighting and that industrial cage pendant giving the perfect ambiance

This family now has an open concept space that feels twice the size it used to be. Now built for gathering, hosting, and everyday life.

From tearing out three walls and dropping a 30-foot beam, to the final coat of paint and the last tile set, every step was worth it. 🙌
