HOME RENOVATION — START TO FINISH 🏠
We recently completed a full renovation in Lafayette. Walls came out, rooms were rebuilt, and custom cabinetry was built and fit to nearly every space in this house.
Here's the tour 👇
🏠 KITCHEN & LIVING ROOM
A wall ran straight down the middle of these two rooms. We shored the ceiling, removed the wall, and carried the load properly. From there we installed a tall storage cabinet with deep drawers, trimmed to the ceiling, and matched new decorative face panels on the base of the island to the existing panels throughout the kitchen. Same footprint — the room lives twice as large.
🛁 MASTER BATHROOM
The original bathroom was small and closed in. We removed a wall to open up the footprint, then built custom cabinetry for a double-sink vanity. The shower was relocated to the corner and tiled floor to ceiling in 2' x 4' porcelain. All tile work in this room was installed by our crew, including the new floor. Finished out with a freestanding tub on a wall-mount filler, a frameless glass shower door, crown molding, and new lighting throughout.
🍷 WET BAR
This one began as a blank wall — nothing there at all. We built the entire bar in place: glass-panel upper cabinets, bar sink, w**e refrigerator, and a bay already plumbed and wired for a future ice maker. Stone countertop, with crown carried to the ceiling.
🚪 ANTIQUE DOORS
The homeowner supplied a set of antique doors. We built the frames, fabricated and fit each door to its opening, and hung them to operate correctly. Old doors and new construction don't line up on their own — that fit is all in the work.
🧺 LAUNDRY ROOM
We relocated the door opening and installed a pocket door so the swing no longer consumed the only usable wall. Custom cabinetry runs the length of the room — uppers with crown, a full drawer bank, tall storage, and a stone countertop for folding. Checkerboard tile laid on the diagonal.
This is the work we do: moving walls, rebuilding layouts, and building cabinetry to fit the room rather than making the room fit the cabinets. Not just swapping finishes.
