Silver Lake Garden Center Garden Center, Green House, Landscaping Established in 1984, Donnie and Margie Hutson and son Steve are the owners and operators of Silver Lake Garden Center.

We have grown from a garden center into a full blown retail and wholesale nursery for container plants in the past few years. We are located in Church Hill Tennessee just west of Kingsport. see(hours/directions) Our business started in 1984 with two greenhouses. We now have thirteen greenhouses . In addition to liners and container plants we grow perennials, annuals, and vegetable plants for the

retail business. Growing out our plant material from start to finish assures us of a quality product and a competitive price. DIRECTIONS AND HOURS

From the redlight on highway 11-W in Church Hill, Tn., turn south by McDonalds Restaurant and Food City onto Silver Lake Road. Go approximately one mile and turn left at Silver Lake Golf Course onto Riverview Drive. Silver Lake Garden Center will be one quarter mile on the right. Business Hours

All you early gardeners should have already gotten or are about to get your first ripe mater.Eat it with joy because you know they won't last forever. In a couple of months they will start to peter out(technical garden term for when they are almost gone.) Now is the time to plant your new mater plants so you have some coming in when the early ones have petered out. We have a fresh crop of Mr. Stripey and Celebrity plants in stock for late planting.
