💧 Specialized Pump Installation in a Traprock Well! 🔧

Not every well is the same, and some require specialized solutions to keep everything running efficiently!

In this traprock well, water enters the open borehole from above the pump, rather than below it as in a more typical well installation. Since these wells are drilled directly into bedrock and do not use a traditional well screen, proper pump placement and water flow are especially important.

To help improve motor cooling, we installed a shroud over the pump designed to direct water past the motor, helping promote proper cooling in this unique well configuration.

Every well presents its own challenges, and understanding the geology, water entry points, and equipment setup makes a difference in getting the job done right. 💪

We recently had the privilege of completing a well 💧 replacement for a nonprofit farm dedicated to fighting hunger and improving access to nutritious food 🥘 in our community.

One of the things we enjoy most in this industry is that there’s always something new to learn.

Recently, we had the opportunity to expand our skills and begin replacing irrigation pumps for an organic farm. Every water system is a little different, and gaining hands-on experience with irrigation pumps helps us better understand the many ways water is delivered where it’s needed most.
