So today my friends is small project Saturday. I wanted to share some of the smaller projects that I am making for Autumn Jubilee. As I grow older the days, weeks, and months seem to fly at a greater rate of speed, sooooo….I have to start earlier. I never know what people will like so I make things that make my heart smile. As promised another finished project. I remade my piece “The One”. I did not like a few things and wanted to re draw the lamb and the legs. So I have two versions now. So glad I took the time to do a redo😎😎. Not sure which one I like better?? Which one do you like?? See you tomorrow with several small projects as I prepare inventory for Autumn Jubilee in October 😎😎

I know it has been a while…but in my defense I was left unsupervised for a bit 😂😂😂. Anyway, here is a little catch up on what I have been working on. A little intarsia, a little Pyrography, and a few small projects. So with that in mind I will post pics over the next few days. First is a pyrography piece called “the Chief”. Not very creative I know but maybe you can help develop a name. That would be great. Have a wonderful summer day 😎😎

Hey everybody! 😎 I am particularly proud of this piece. I made the pattern and completed the piece, it is roughly 84 pieces. I titled it, “The One” based on Matthew 18:12-14. It was based on a painting I once viewed. I used Hickory, blue pine, canary, WRC, bass wood and a couple of others I can’t remember. I routed the frame from a thin piece I had around the shop. Tried something new for me cutting the frame to fit the horse. I think it turned out okay for a first try. The hardest part is finding the right frame and size for the piece. Have a wonderful Monday 😎😎

Spent much of this week working on this Fret work project. I felt I need to challenge myself and improve my scrolling technique. Now to think about how to mount and frame this beauty. Have a great, try to stay warm, weekend 😎😎😎

On behalf of Jennifer and myself we thank everybody for your support with Doc’s Customer Creativity and Sew Cool Quilts. We love being creative and have been blessed with making many things for a lot of folks. We have made new friends in the process rekindled old friendships and look forward to new and exciting adventures. I had tremendous joy over the last few weeks creating this Pyrography piece for my lovely bride as we celebrate 23 years today. This piece reminds us since the beginning we have been in our Creators hands. As the sands moves from top to bottom we may have grown a bit weary, but still have sand left in the glass.
