🐾 Happy National Dog Day from the Chillicothe Carpet family!🐾

We may be known for flooring, but around here, we know the real VIPs are the four-legged family members—especially the ones belonging to our very own employees!

From car rides to office visits, our team’s dogs are part of the Chillicothe Carpet crew. They’re the ones leaving little paw prints on our hearts (and sometimes on a freshly cleaned floor 😄), keeping us company during busy days, and always reminding us what “home” is really about.

Myth Busting Monday

MYTH: “If LVP is waterproof, water can never cause a problem.”

Not quite! While the flooring itself can be waterproof, water can still find its way underneath the flooring and potentially cause issues with the subfloor—especially when there’s a leak or standing water.

That’s why proper installation matters just as much as choosing the right flooring!

🏆 We have a winner! 🏆

The votes were fun, but they didn’t decide it this time—we had Hunter and Travis go head-to-head in a tiebreaker round using a different carpet, and after the final test, Hunter has officially earned the title of our Carpet Touch Champion!

After an intense blindfold challenge and a close showdown, Hunter came out on top! Now the real question…did you guess right?!

A big thanks to everyone who commented and played along—it made the challenge even more fun!

Can our team identify carpet by touch alone?

We put our sales team and our marketing girl to the test! We blindfolded them, and took them to touch 4 different in-stock carpet rolls, and challenged them to guess the brand just by feeling them.

🏁 The results:
- Greg (Sales): 1 out of 4
- Hunter (Sales): 2 out of 4
- Travis (Sales): 2 out of 4
- Charity (Marketing): 1 out of 4

That means we're headed to a TIEBREAKER!!! Winner gets bragging rights!
