I can't wait!! This painting was SO fun as a birthday theme and now we get to help out our new local donut shop Main St. Donuts by bringing some art and fun to their space!

After the event, you have the option to leave your painting for them to display on their fresh walls for one month. How fun!

Ticket Link in my bio. ๐ŸŽŸ

Yes, I know none of these are Ireland themed... it takes time for experiences to show up in your art. ๐Ÿ’š

Travel will always be one of the ways I most come alive and find inspiration, though, so we do have a couple fun wanderlust ones coming up!

If Italy ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น is on your travel someday list, or you're like me and you just adored Tuscany... join me at On Broadway! And comment below, what local bakery should we ask to make us tiramisu?!

France ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท ranks high on my someday soon trip list and not just for the pastries! But I am super excited to paint at Upper Crust again, and enjoy the croissants they're providing for us too!

More of a homebody? These other sessions might be exciting to you... a paint your pet at Northern Star Mills, and two at LIVE VINE Winery that really complement their location overlooking the afterbay.

Tag a friend and let's put artsy time on the calendar! You'll be so glad you made time to connect and get creative. ๐Ÿค

Kenmare!! I loved it here. We stayed right in the middle of this cute Irish town and gave James the 'no driving day' we had promised. Shops and painting, pool and card games in pubs, we even found mini-golf, which felt pretty dreamy when it started just barely misting on us.

The biggest success of that day, though, was that it renewed our energy for exploring Killarney National Park the next day! A trip just feels more complete with an incredible bike ride through amazing green landscapes.

Stops along the way included:
- Muckross Abbey with a huge tree growing in the middle of it
- The Muckross house, where Daniel explored inside while James and I ran around on the huge lawn and skipped stones
- Torc Waterfall, with no signs or rails telling us we couldn't climb up there, soooo ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Plus, the last few photos at the end are from other days, because I had to pull a few from Daniel's phone too. We made so many amazing memories together. ๐Ÿ’š

Thanks for sharing in the joy of our trip, and if you're thinking of planning some time in Ireland, let's chat!

The Sky Road just wrapped me up in its beauty. Maybe you've had a nature experience like this before... so completely immersed... I actually cried! It was so overwhelming lovely, peaceful, and just what my soul needed.

Also needed a matcha from Bri coffee and art, because apparently Galway had this shop by the beach curated for me! ๐Ÿ˜„

Our Galway stay was super close to the Latin Quarter, where we found quintessential live music in the pubs, and incredibly fun energy on the streets.

Day trips from Galway included the stunning Kylemore Abbey and the famous Cliffs of Moher... of course James made sure the climb-able things were all given their moment. An Ireland ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช climbing adventure I didn't know I was mapping out when planning each of these stops!

Northern Ireland views were STUNNING!! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช

We made the trek all the way to Limavady immediately after landing in Shannon. Our hero, Daniel drove 6 hours on the naaaarow left side of the road ๐Ÿคช while James and I took mini car naps.

Our first stop along the way was Strandhill, a cute beach town where we ate breakfast & ice cream, skipped rocks, and walked around in our first bit of Irish rain. All things that help with our reset to try and skip the jet lag!

We also stopped at the castle in Donegal and did a little popping into shops. I got a wool scarf that I proceeded to wear for half the trip... adjusting to the chill of Ireland while it was 105ยฐ back home!

We finished the day with grocery shopping, hot tub and dinner at our Airbnb, and a later than we expected bedtime, BUT... it worked โœจ๏ธ got us lined up with Ireland time in just one day! I was nervous about this with James being a kid who needs a lot of sleep and me someone who struggles with sleep, but we did it!

The following day we headed to the Giants Causeway ๐Ÿ™Œ An absolutely incredible immerse yourself in nature experience where this rock formation feels like a playground of stacked hexagon stones... surrounded by crashing waves, green slopes and the most exhilarating wind... I've never enjoyed a windy day this much!

On our way there we stopped at Dunluce Castle which is said to have inspired C.S. Lewis' Cair Paravel from the Chronicles of Narnia. We also tried to go walk the rope bridge at Carrick-a-Rede, but it was closed due to the wind, so just a dreamy hike before our quest for dinner.

I say quest because we made SIX attempts before we found a place that would feed us. Lesson: reservations matter and we CAN eat at 8:30pm, sleep in, and still enjoy the hot tub one last time before we hit the road for our next stop: Galway!! ๐Ÿ€

I believe engaging kids in the world by giving them missions experiences is SO impactful!!

When I was seven years old my parents took me on my first trip to Mexico to help build a house. I was enthralled with learning the language and meeting the kids my age, who were marvelously content, even while living with so much less than I had ever seen before.

Fast forward to the season where I was doing my best with single mom life, and I heard about a missionary who I had known growing up, who needed a place to live. What a God given opportunity! Summer lived with James and me while praying about where she would go next, and we fell in love with her. โค๏ธ I'm so thankful for the ways she poured into James' life and helped show him more of the world than I had seen!

Now Summer is visiting and we are co-hosting this experience... to give YOUR kids a time to learn how things are in another part of the world, make a craft project with wool yarn, and maybe even find that missions is one of their passions. โœจ๏ธ

July highlights so far: parade and paddleboard to celebrate the 4th as a family. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ

And a little getaway: so much fun celebrating our 5th anniversary! ๐Ÿ’ We went to LA for a concert, and thoroughly enjoyed all the places we got to explore while we were there. This beach was my faaaaavorite!

Who was the artist we flew to LA to see??? (volume up for a sample) Nic D sparked this anniversary trip, and the show was so worth it! Go listen! Nic D

Summery paintings at fun places! Looking forward to each time I get to pop up and enjoy creating with you!

Private parties available too... if you want to gather with just your besties, and you get to choose the painting. Maybe you love one of these, or even one that sold out last season (like those little bees and magnolias!) I'll make sure your creative together time is easy peasy and you get to just relax with your guests!
