It is with a very heavy heart that I say goodbye to my dear friend, Bobbi D. Smith.
Bobbi worked with me at Parham Tile for many years as a tile setter, but calling her an employee doesn’t come close to describing what she meant to me. After all those years working side by side, Bobbi was family.
Anyone who knew Bobbi knew she was one of a kind. We shared countless jobs, long days, laughs, conversations, and memories over the years. She worked hard, she knew her trade, and I could always count on her. I have a lot of memories of our years together that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
Bobbi passed away on August 12, surrounded by her family. She was only 59 years old, and it is hard to believe she is gone.
My heart goes out to Laura, Bobbi’s family, and all of her friends and loved ones. I know there are a lot of people who are going to feel the emptiness she leaves behind.
Thank you, Bobbi, for all the years, all the hard work, all the laughs, and most importantly, thank you for your friendship.
You were much more than an employee. You were my dear friend, and I will miss you more than words can say.
Rest easy, Bobbi. You will never be forgotten.
