🐾❤️ THIS is what healing looks like at TLC. ❤️🐾
Most people think a functional medicine clinic is all labs, supplements, and science.
And yes... we do plenty of that.
But today?
Today looked a little different.
A mom walked through our doors fighting for her son after years of watching him suffer with symptoms nobody can explain.
Another warrior arrived after years of being told she was "crazy," wondering if the answer is really psychiatric—or if infections, inflammation, mold, Lyme, Bartonella, or Babesia have been quietly writing the story all along.
Down the hall warriors were diving in HBOT before dental procedures.
Others were receiving IV therapy.
Our newest medical assistant, Autumn, is preparing to join the TLC family next week.
And then...
The puppy showed up. 🐶
I may or may not have informed a warrior that supplements would be withheld if the puppy wasn't brought to his next appointment.
Was I kidding?
The world may never know.
The second he walked through the door, productivity dropped by approximately 87%.
Medical discussions stopped.
Everyone suddenly became puppy specialists.
And honestly?
No regrets.
Because healing isn't just protocols.
It's hope.
It's community.
It's laughter.
It's feeling heard.
It's finding answers after years of being told there aren't any.
It's fighting for your child.
It's refusing to give up on yourself.
And sometimes...
It's a puppy sitting in the middle of a functional medicine clinic reminding everyone that joy is medicine too. ❤️
