As we head into the holiday weekend, let’s make safety our first priority, both on and off the job. Whether you're traveling, relaxing at home, or working, keep these tips in mind to ensure everyone returns safely.

Safety Tips:
✅ Stay focused holidays can be distracting. Keep your head in the game.
✅ Follow all LOTO procedures before servicing equipment. Double-check machine guards and emergency stops.
✅ Plan extra travel time; holiday traffic can be unpredictable & get plenty of rest before long drives.
✅ Test smoke alarms if hosting guests.
✅ Practice safe grilling, never leave a hot grill unattended.

: Looking back 7 years ago...

Sometimes it's great to pause and remember where it all started, or at least, where our commitment to service was on full display. Back in 2019, MZI Group, was out connecting communities with Sleep in Heavenly Peace - IL, Oak Forest building beds for kids in need. Their mission says it all: “No kid sleeps on the floor in our town.”

We loved every minute of it, volunteering alongside our partners at HBK Engineering and watching our littlest MZI "employees" get their hands dirty, learning what it really means to serve our communities and help others. That day wasn't just about building beds. It was about building character, connection, and a legacy of service that has only grown stronger over the last seven years.

Service isn't just what we do. It's who we are. And it's been that way from the very beginning.

MZI had an incredible time at the 2026 Green Drives Conference and Expo!

It was an honor to connect with so many passionate organizations, thought leaders, policymakers, manufacturers, and industry experts who are all driving the future of clean transportation. We got an up-close look at the latest customizable EV trucks and vans on display. And it didn't stop there.
