Through its focus on Wellness & Sport, Mentorship & Support, and Workforce & Career, BOWA Gives is championing the next generation—especially girls—on the field, in the classroom, and as they prepare for their futures.

From creating opportunities through sport and mentorship to opening doors to careers in Architecture, Construction and Engineering, the work is about more than giving back. It’s about building pathways forward.

At BOWA, our interns don’t spend the summer on the sidelines, they’re in the field, in meetings, and learning from the best. This summer, they gained hands-on experience in estimating, VDC, project management, and compliance while supporting projects across our aviation, healthcare, and K-12 sectors.

Working alongside superintendents, project managers, and our trade partners, they saw firsthand what it takes to deliver complex projects that transform communities.

Today, we wrapped up the program with our Intern Capstone Presentations, where each intern shared key takeaways, lessons learned, and the impact of their summer experience. It was a fitting reminder of just how much they’ve grown in just a few short months.

And for some, the internship is just the beginning. We’re proud to have former interns return to BOWA as Project Engineers, proving that investing in the next generation isn’t just something we say; it’s what we do.

Here’s to the future builders, problem-solvers, and leaders.

Today at 400 Lake Shore Drive, teams came together for Safety Standdowns and a Lunch & Learn focused on reinforcing the importance of safe practices on the jobsite.
