The Richard Morris Hunt conference was a huge success! Americans it is your turn to apply - due 12/15!!. Our bi-annual conference took us throughout Normandy and in between extensive travel we discussed the macro issues of Section 106 and changes to the profession due to economies in both France and the United States, and the micro issues of the advancements in the profession as it relates to our projects. Applications open for the 2027 Fellow and ScholarApplications for the 2027 Richard Morris Hunt Prize Fellow and Scholar open October 15, 2026, and close December 15, 2026. This cycle invites American historic preservation architects and other preservation professionals to propose immersive research in France. The Fellow will receive up to $20,000 for a six-month fellowship, and the research may be completed in two or three phases.
