Glow up coming soon! Swipe to see where this 2020 kitchen renovation is headed, and where it began! ✨

During covid we were given the unique opportunity to quickly renovate the interior of this 1885 Italian Victorian in Chicago's Wicker Park. The space has previously been gutted in the 90's and given a contemporary look. We added windows to the kitchen. Added a glass partition between the living room and main space and used moldings to add depth. Fast forward to 2026 and our clients are ready to get more from the space. To begin...we're adding a decorative transom and fireplace to create a dining room.

It's so special to work with clients who want to blend playful, modern color and semi-open living concepts with traditional Victorian elements. We are really looking forward to seeing this come together this fall.

Subtle layering creates a complete space. Tone on tone builds depth. The ombré wallcovering, pleated drapes, velvet on velvet, rich wool and silk against art deco lacquer furniture, channel tufting on the sofa. The art and decor finish the room. And don’t forget the sound of the piano.
